Sloths
There once was a Sloth called the giant ground sloth and this species could grow as big as an Elephant,sloths are unique Animals and very lazy. Sloths can live up to 10 years old.

The sloths have a really basic diet it is leaves that they can get from up in the treesand fruit and they also suck ants and insects from the nest like a super vacuum. Sloths also don't drink liquid.

Appearance
Sloths look like monkeys but are related to armadillos anteaters. they have a really roundish head and sad looking eyes, long arms, little ears they also can grow up to 60-80cm long and can weight up to 8kg. They spend up to 20 hours sleeping a day and are mainly nocturnal. They grow algae on there fur that helps them blend in with the surroundings. the walk by digging there front claws into the dirt and dragging there body they are also slow moving and very clumsy.
The Sloths have roundish heads, sad looking eyes,long arms, little ears and grow algae on there fur that helps them blend in with surroundings. The Sloths can grow up to 60-80cm long and can weight up to 8kgs. The Sloths alt by digging there front claws into the dirt and pull them self on the ground the sloths are also very clumsy. Although the Sloths look like monkeys but are really related to the Armadillo and anteater family

If the sloth is caught by predators the sloth hiss,bite,slash there claws and shriek loudly. Scientists believe that sloths are so slow that they are less noticeable to predators such as hawks and feral cats. Some subspecies of sloth are endangered because of predators and the human race. There is not much known about how many sloths are left in the world.
