Mum is very shameless to her kids she would always do something embarrassing. Like on Wednesday all the kids will walk home so they didn’t get embarrassed on the bus when they passed Mum coming back with all her groceries in her car so they just walked. The boys hated it but the all the girls liked it because Mr Hadley lived close to them and all the girls thought he was awesome. But one day they were really unfortunate when they hear the horn and voice of Mum yelling “Who wants a ride” Mr Hadley dived in on top of all the groceries
. Mum had a real good sort to her as she was really poor but she but on every Wednesday she would buy all her relations and friends there groceries for the week. She would also offer people rides when they wanted one. And when they won five hundred thousands dollars in the lottery she got a new car and new dresses but all the rest of the money on the others in her family like new shoes, school bags and new clothes
. Mum in the story “it used to be green once” was a very instisting person. When they won the lottery all the kids thought Mum still wouldn’t shame them but she never changed it was just the way she is she likes to be generous.

I wrote it as an example of how to critically respond to a character in a story.
One of my learning goals was to analyse a character from a short story and give evidence from the text to support my judgements and comments about the character.
I achieved this because I used qotes from the text to support my judgments and I can explane what Mum's personality was like.
